Ronald James "Ron" Kind is an American lawyer from La Crosse, Wisconsin. Since 1997 he has served as the U.S. Representative for Wisconsin's 3rd congressional district. He is a member of the Democratic Party. His district is located in the western portion of the state and is anchored by La Crosse, Eau Claire, Platteville, Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids and River Falls.
